Uncle Bob:
When we were kids, Uncle Bob was famous for his riveting, original tales
of "Green Thumb Bum".  We would eagerly awaited his latest story and he
never disappointed us!"

I remember the story of Uncle Bob and the would-be Popeye.  The way I
heard it was...Uncle Bob was working up on the roof of the house in
Geraurd when Ron yelled up that he'd eaten his spinach and (like Popeye)
was going to knock him off that roof.  I also heard that Ron changed his
tune as soon as Uncle Bob climbed down from the ladder...

Remember the gag gifts my Dad and Uncle Bob have always exchanged?  Like
the walnut shell "love bead" necklace Dad made?  Such a hit that John
and Ron wore it.
